Trout can eat hundreds of midge pupa during the hatch and during the early months the right midge pattern can be the difference between having a great day on the water and catching nothing at all. This early season Grey Reef Rainbow was sipping midges in the soft water and was fooled by size 20 Red Dark Knight Riser.
